Wylma A. Keil, age 87, of Columbus died Thursday at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Wylma A. Keil was born July 29, 1921 in Clarkson, Nebraska to Vaclav and Anna (Podany) Zacek. She grew up in Clarkson and graduated from Clarkson High School in 1939. She married Harold Keil on July 31, 1942 in Sturgis, South Dakota. Harold and Wylma enjoyed 67 happy years of being married. They farmed in the Clarkson area for ten years before moving to Columbus where they owned various restaurants. The last 30 years they have owned the Green Lantern. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Wylma loved playing cards, attending bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.
