Wilma Esther Killham, age 90, of Columbus, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the Countryside Home in Madison.
Wilma was born February 14, 1921 in Platte County, Nebraska to George Sr. and Ida (Lemp) Tiaden. Wilma attended Platte Co. School District #37 and graduated from Kramer High School in 1939. On December 9, 1943, Wilma married Raymond Killham in Columbus. The couple farmed for 35 years in various places, Lone Star, south of Columbus, Genoa, Monroe and Richland before retirement in 1978. Over the years Wilma was a homemaker, waitress, 4-H leader, a deaconess, Sunday School Teacher, Awana Leader and a Christian Women's Luncheon Official. She enjoyed church functions, her roses, cooking, baking, gardening, canning, scrabble, rook club and helping her family on the farm.
