Wilma "Willie" Kampschneider was born December 19, 1924, in Dodge County to Alois and Bessie (Havelka) Studnicka. She was united in marriage to Edward L. Kampschneider on January 9, 1945. They were blessed with five children and raised them in Howells and later moved to Columbus. She loved working in her flower garden and embroidery along with watching the birds in her pristine back yard. All her life she loved going to dances and gliding along the dance floor dancing polkas and waltzes. Even while at Brookestone Acres, she was known to wiggle her bootie!
