William J. &Quot;Bill&Quot; Mckown

Bill McKown died Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

William J. "Bill" McKown was born October 6, 1946 in Fremont, Nebraska. The son of James and Wilma (Hoshor) McKown, Bill graduated from Columbus High School in 1965. He started with Union Pacific Railroad as a machine operator and worked for 37 years. Bill was united in marriage to Jeanette Brock on April 28, 1967 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. He enjoyed swimming, golfing, bowling working on cars and being outdoors.
