William &Quot;Bill&Quot; Kuta

William F. "Bill" Kuta, age 60, of Columbus, Nebraska died Thursday, March 4, 2004 in Columbus. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday March 8, 2004 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Tom Weisbecker officiating. Burial will be in the All Saints Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday with a 4:00 p.m. Rosary and a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service all at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.

William F. Kuta was born December 6, 1943 in Tarnov, Nebraska to Stanley and Lauretta (Micek) Kuta. He graduated from St. Francis High School in Humphrey, Nebraska. He attended Norfolk Jr. College and the Denver School of Electronics. Bill received his CLU & ChFC degrees in insurance from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. On May 9, 1964 he was united in marriage to Mary Soulliere at St. Joseph Church in Platte Center. The couple lived in Denver and Colorado Springs before moving to Columbus in 1967. Bill worked for Dale Electronics for 5 years before becoming a partner in P & K Electronics. He then started with Prudential Insurance in the late 70's and opened Kuta Insurance with his wife Mary in 1997. Bill enjoyed fishing, playing softball, racquetball, jogging, motorcycle riding, boating, water skiing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, sang in the Mens Choir, Perpetual Adoration and the Platte Valley Life Underwriters.

He was preceded by his parents.
