William Kline

William "Bill" Kline died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Meridian Gardens Assisted Living Facility in Columbus, Nebraska.

William Bill R. Kline, the son of Ray and Clara (Selk) Kline, was born January 23, 1933 at Cozad, Nebraska. He grew up in the communities of Cozad, Lexington and Gothenburg. He graduated from Gothenburg High School in 1951. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956 aboard the USS Catfish-Submarine. After being discharged from the Navy, Bill went to school in Omaha for 2 years. On February 26, 1954, Bill was united in marriage to Janeeta Martin at Gothenburg, Nebraska. They moved to Lancaster, California where he worked at Edwards Air Force Base working for General Dynamics. He also worked for Lockhead Aircraft in Sandusky, Ohio. They moved to Columbus in 1964 and Bill worked for Becton-Dickinson. He retired in 1992. Bill was a member of Sertoma, VFW, Legion, Submarine Veterans, and was active in Nebraska Korean Veterans Reunions. He enjoyed woodworking and working on electronics.

9 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters
