Wayne D. Criss Sr. was born January 22, 1939 in Blue Rapids, Kansas. He grew up in the Columbus, Cedar Rapids and St. Edward areas. He married Judy Semrau on August 28, 1965 in Columbus. He worked at the Columbus Sales Pavilion for 42 years. He enjoyed collecting eagles, playing pool and cards.

Daughter: Naomi Borst of Columbus, NE
Son: Wayne Criss Jr. of Columbus, NE
Son: Tim Criss of Columbus, NE
Son: Todd (Mindy) Maricle of Albion, NE
5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
