Wanda Zuroski

Wanda died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Wanda Yvonne Zuroski was born October 8, 1922 in Humphrey, Nebraska to Fred and Dorothy (Jansen) Henry. She graduated from Creston High School in 1940. Wanda then went to work at Pollys Shoe Store in Columbus. On June 9, 1948 Wanda was united in marriage to Thomas G. Zuroski in Columbus. While raising her family, Wanda worked at Becton-Dickinson, Sears, and for State Farm Insurance for 25 years until retiring in 1987.

Wanda was a member of St. Isidore Church, Christian Mothers, Catholic Daughters, D.A.V. Auxiliary and TOPS.

Wanda enjoyed cross stitch embroidery, quilting, playing cards, dancing, reading the newspaper, walking, watching Nebraska and Creighton athletics, and listening to polka music.

She is survived by:

Grandchildren: Michelle Kuta of Omaha and Matt (Allison) Kuta of Lincoln
Great Grandson: Logan Kuta
