Walter Wuest

Walter Dean Wuest, age 67, of Creston, Nebraska passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Columbus Community Hospital.

A Celebration of Walt's Life will be held at Dusters from 2-4 p.m. November 12, 2022. A private service will be held at a later date.

Walter was born March 1, 1955, to Johnny & Betty Wuest in Tilden, NE. The family moved to Columbus permanently in 1961. Walt graduated in 1975 from Columbus High School. He was employed at Camaco from 1984 until 2017 when he retired.

Walter was a kind, loving man with many talents. He enjoyed working with his hands and being a craftsman or working on cars. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing with his grandson, camping, hunting, and spending time with his wife and the people he loved. He was always right there to lend a helping hand to anyone. Walter lived a full, beautiful life and will be deeply missed by so many.
