Walter Kosinski

Walter Kosinski, age 89, of Columbus died Sunday; January 27, 2002 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday; January 30, 2002 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the McKown Funeral Home. A vigil will be held Tuesday; 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Walter Kosinski was born August 22, 1912 in Fullerton, Nebraska to Paul and Sophia (Dudek) Kosinski. He received his education in Boone County. On April 26, 1937 he married Helen L. Wielgus at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus, Nebraska. Walt farmed near St. Edward and Lindsay before moving to Columbus where he worked as a security guard at Dale Electronic until his retirement. Walter enjoyed woodworking and horses. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
