Virgil J. Voigt of Rapid City, South Dakota died Friday, September 11, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Rapid City, SD.

Virgil Jerome Voigt was born April 6, 1954 in Lemmon, South Dakota to Edwin and Vernice (Menke) Voigt. He attended schools in North Dakota. Virgil was diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy at a young age. He lived with his parents until moving to the Black Hills Workshop in Rapid City, South Dakota. Virgil enjoyed playing checkers, music, reading his bible and studying history and politics.
