Viola Davidshofer

Viola Davidshofer, age 84, of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday October 4, 2004 at the Beverly Health Care in Columbus. A Prayer Service is 10:30 am Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at McKown Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Paul Rowoldt officiating. Visitation is Wednesday morning from 9:00 until 10:30 am at McKown Funeral Home. Interment will be in Columbus Cemetery.

Mrs. Davidshofer was born Aug. 28, 1920, in rural St. Croix County in Wisconsin, to Arthur and Mary (Deans) Barrett. She attended school until eighth grade. She married Lloyd Larson Jan. 1, 1940 in Ellsworth, Wis. She married Carmon Davidshofer Nov. 11, 1967, in Minneapolis, Minn. She worked at Douglas and Lomason in Columbus for nearly seven years.

Survivors include one son, Francis Larson of Illinois; three daughters, Karen (Ray) Kopfman of Reading, Kan., Pat (John) Davidshofer of Columbus and Debbie (Steve) Russell of Mandan, N.D.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Duane Larson; three brothers and two sisters.

Memorials are suggested to Make a Wish Foundation in care of the funeral home.
