Viola M. Adkisson, age 81, of Columbus died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center in Osceola.
Viola was born November 17, 1930 in Platte County, Nebraska to Harold and Susie (Pinson) Bower. She received her education at District # 11. She married Richard Adkisson on June 1, 1949 in Platte Center. Along with raising her family she worked at Dale Electronics for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Viola was a resident of Crown Villa before moving to Osceola Good Samaritan Center. She enjoyed attending garage sales and playing Train with her special friends. Viola loved bingo and gambling and was always a winner.
