Victoria &Quot;Vicki&Quot; Brandenburg

August 29, 1931 — May 4, 2017

Victoria entered in to her life with the Lord on Thursday, May 4th 2017 while receiving Hospice care at Columbus Community Hospital.

Victoria Ann Brandenburg was born on August 30, 1931 in Lindsay, NE to Lawrence & Agnes (Schmitz) Dreifurst. She graduated from Lindsay Holy Family High School, and after working various jobs in Omaha and Adams Cafe in Columbus, she met and married Donald Glen Brandenburg in 1953. They were blessed with two children, Dennis & Janine. Victoria worked for Dale Electronics and retired after 38 years of employment, making numerous friendships along the way. She also volunteered at the Hospital Gift shop and for Meals on Wheels. She was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her children & family became her most cherished enjoyment. Vicki's kind heart and sense of humor touched many during her life and her parish membership to Saint Anthony Church fulfilled her faith in God.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Janine A. Schofding (Craig) of Westminster, CO
Grandchildren, Michael L. Brandenburg (Kim), Daniel J. Brandenburg (Becky), Brooke M. Taylor (Dan), all of Columbus, NE., Shawn Brandenburg (Megan) of Grand Rapids, MI., Nicholas J. Schofding, Holly V. Schofding, Mary Ann M. Schofding, all of Colorado, and Gabriella Parks of Columbus, NE.
Great Grandchildren, Mason Brandenburg, Tyler Brandenburg, Ryan Brandenburg, Shelby Brandenburg, McKenzie Brandenburg, Aaron Gonka, Jenna Taylor, Alyssa Taylor, Bella Taylor, Madison Brandenburg, Grayson Brandenburg, Kendall Karmann and Andres Graulau.
Brothers, Cyril Dreifurst (Charlotte), and Bill Dreifurst (Bev).
Sisters, Rosie Hall, Donna Laska (Frank), and Jane Pensick (Bob).
Sister In-Law, Velma Shupe.
Brother In-Law, Dale Holley.
And many beloved nieces, nephews, and special friends.
