Victor Jarosz, age 93, died Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Norfolk Veterans Home.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The rosary will be prayed at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church. There will be no visitation. Burial is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery with Military Honors by Hartman Post #84 American Legion Honor Guard. Directed Health Measures regarding mass gatherings will be in place.

Victor Stanley Jarosz was born April 5, 1927 to Joseph and Selma (Zoucha) Jarosz on a farm near Cedar Rapids, NE. He attended and graduated from Cedar Rapids High School in 1945. After graduating, Vic enlisted in the US Army where he served from 1945-1947 and achieved the rank of T4 "Sergeant". When he returned, Vic went on to Barber's school in Omaha. He enjoyed being a barber for over 35 years but had to retire early due to health concerns. On December 26, 1949, Victor was united in marriage to Selma Liss in St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. He was a proud former member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Knights of Columbus and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Vic enjoyed hunting ducks, fishing, playing cards, vegetable gardening, attending daily Mass, and CASINOS.

He is survived by:

Daughter-In-Law: Sharon Jarosz of Duncan, NE
Brother: Edward (Rose) Jarosz of Omaha, NE
Sister: Marie (Jack) Schaecher of Littleton, CO

20 Great Grandchildren
4 Great-Great Grandchildren

He is preceded in death by:
Wife of 50 years: Selma "Sally" Jarosz
Daughters: Linda Bogus and Mary Cerny
Son: Tyrone Jarosz
Brothers: Leonard, Ted, Michael and Richard
Sisters: Anastasia, Marcella, Catherine and Genevieve
Parents: Joseph and Selma Jarosz
