Veronica "Vera" Kobus of Columbus died Monday, February 6, 2017 at Morys Haven.
Veronica Vera Kobus was born January 4, 1924 in Columbus, Nebraska to Frank and Anna (Bosak) Kobus. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from high school in 1941. She worked as an executive secretary for Becton-Dickinson until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church where she sang in the choir. She was a member of the Womens Division of the Chamber of Commerce, Church Women United and a volunteer for Project Literacy.
Vera is survived by
Nephew: William Kobus of Atlanta, GA
Niece: Michele Kobus of Omaha, NE
Niece: Melissa Stoysich of Altanta, GA
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Edward Kobus.
