Valeria Smolenski

Valeria F. Smolenski of Osceola died Saturday, Febraury 25, 2012 at the Genoa Community Hospital.

Valeria F. Smolenski was born June 17, 1906 on a farm north of Osceola to John and Katherine (Kontor) Lisko. She grew up and attended schools in Polk County. Valeria was united in marriage to Louis Smolenski on October 28, 1928 at St. Marys-Pilsno. Valeria was a farmwife and raised four children. She was a member of St. Marys Church for her entire life. She enjoyed embroidery and needlework, having made several items for her grandchildren and friends.
