Ursula Kresha, age 76, of Columbus, Nebraska died Monday June 30, 2003 at Morys Haven in Columbus. Funeral Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday July 3, 2003 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus with Reverend Tom Weisbecker officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation is 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Thursday morning from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.
Ursula Kresha was born February 19, 1927 in Duncan, Nebraska to Alois and Anna (Iwan) Micek. She graduated from Kramer High School in 1944. Ursula then went to work for Consumers Public Power District. On July 4, 1949 she was united in marriage to Wilfred Kresha at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan. She then went to work for the Blue Bird Dress Shop. In 1976 Ursula purchased the Hair Loft which she owned and operated with her daughter Debbie. In 1981 she purchased the Huddle Bar in Platte Center with her husband and operated it until retiring in 1993. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and the Eagles Auxiliary

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Minnie Micek.
