Ty died Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Brookstone Acres in Columbus.
Tyrone Edward Jarosz was born April 10, 1947 in Columbus, Nebraska to Victor and Selma (Liss) Jarosz. He was in the last graduating class of St. Bonaventure High School in 1965. He also graduated from Nettilton Technical Institute and attended classes at Platte Community College in Columbus. Ty volunteered to join the Department of Navy SeaBees (MCB-9) and served two tours of duty in Vietnam from 1966 - 1968. He married Sharon Marla Bridgmon on April 17, 1970 in Columbus. Ty worked for the City of Columbus Engineering Department, Rystrom Engineering, James McMeekin Registered Land Surveyor and Consulting Engineer. In February of 1976 Ty went to work for Nebraska Public Power District and retired as a Right-of-Way agent in August of 2012 after 36 years due to cancer treatments. He was an avid bass fisherman and also enjoyed archery deer hunting. Ty and Sharon had fun together where ever they went. He always referred to her as his catch of a lifetime. Ty enjoyed his kids and grandkids and the family get togethers where he loved doing most of the cooking. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, V.F.W. and the American Legion.

Sisters-in-law: Donna Legenza of San Francisco, CA; Judy Dowell of Glennie, MI
