Troy A. Jindra, age 50, of Columbus, died Monday, February 24, 2020 in Gretna, Nebraska.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. There will be a vigil service 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the McKown Funeral Home. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday and will continue Friday morning 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Columbus Cemetery.
Troy A. Jindra was born December 18, 1969 in Schuyler, Nebraska to Ronald and Marilyn (Kucera) Jindra. He received his education in Columbus and graduated from Columbus High School in 1988. Troy worked for Appleton for many years, where he made many lifelong friends. He later worked at Apogee. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Pittsburg Steelers and Huskers. He enjoyed country and classic rock music, spicy foods, movies, drag racing and spending time with his family, especially family get togethers. Everyone who knew him said "He was a kind, caring, good guy".

Parents: Ronald & Marilyn Jindra of Columbus
Sister: Tarrah Jindra of Omaha
Along with many aunts, uncles and cousins
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Tony & Ella Kucera, Adolph & Lillian Jindra and other loved family members.
