Tracy Goos

Tracy Goos, age 56, died peacefully from pancreatic cancer on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Visitation is 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at St. Anthony Church. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. also at the church. Burial is in the All Saints Cemetery.

Tracy was born in Columbus at Saint Mary's Hospital on October 22, 1963 to William and Beverly (Korup) Dreifurst. She graduated from Scotus Central High School in 1982. She attended college at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Tracy worked for Columbus Family Practice for 35 years. She had a deep passion for healthcare and helping people. Her biggest passion in life was family. She loved being with her kids, husband, and dogs. She enjoyed attending her kids' activities, concerts, musicals, and Husker football games. She also enjoyed playing cards with her parents as a pastime.

Mother: Bev Dreifurst of Columbus, NE
Sister: Terri (Jerry) Mancuso of Kansas City, MO
Brother: Todd Dreifurst of Columbus, NE
Along with many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins

She was preceded in death by:

Grandparents: Lawrence and Agnes Dreifurst
Grandmother: Helen Korup
