Tony died Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Tony Paczosa was born July 8, 1937 in Duncan, Nebraska to Stanley and Mary (Markiewiec) Paczosa. He graduated from High School in Duncan and attended telegraphy school in Minnesota. Tony served in the National Guard from October 3, 1960 - October 2, 1966. On September 30, 1961 he was united in marriage to Elaine Kula at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Church - Krakow, rural Genoa, Nebraska. Tony worked for the Union Pacific Railroad 42 years until retiring. He lived in Elba and Spalding before returning to Silver Creek where he worked part time for Silver Creek Lumber. He was a member of St. Lawrence Church, Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post #263 and the Silver Creek Fire Department. Tony enjoyed fishing, traveling with Elaine to Branson, Missouri and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Daughters: Shari (Ken) Kucera, Tracey (Jesus) Rivera and Kellee (Calvin) Clark all of Omaha; Judi (Larry) Hughes of Osceola; Lenne (Jason) Anderson of Lincoln
Sisters: Lillian Dush of Duncan; Rose (Louie) Kuta of Columbus
Brothers: Leonard (Barbara) Paczosa of Maplewood, MN; Stanley (Shirley) Paczosa of Duncan; Valerian Paczosa of Columbus
Step-Granddaughters: Ashley and Heather Kucera of Omaha
Grandchildren: Alyssa and Jacob Clark of Omaha; Melina and Estefano Rivera of Omaha; Logan Sperling and Zak Anderson of Lincoln; Justin and Lindsi Hughes of Osceola
