Tony Garretson

Tony Garretson, age 67, of Ong, Nebraska died Saturday, October 4, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the McKown Funeral Home in Columbus. Visitation is Friday 5-7 p.m. at the McKown Funeral Home.

Tony was born March 29, 1958, in Columbus, Nebraska to Dennis and Bonnie (Mustard) Garretson. He grew up in Columbus where he received his education and graduated from Columbus High in 1977. Tony was married to JoDene Meyer in Columbus, Nebraska. He worked at various jobs including Kuhn Oil, Shupe Brothers Trucking, Far Better Feed, Garretson Equipment and most recently as a long-distance truck driver.

He is survived by his wife JoDene; son: Brian (Jaymie) Garretson, daughters:  Brandy Garretson and Bridget Garretson; 7 grandchildren: Hunter, Jesse, Gus, Gabby, Gentry, Ashly and Isabella; father: Dennis (Louise) Garretson; siblings: Allen (Laurie) Garretson, Debra (Joe) Hanson,

He was preceded in death by his mother: Bonnie and brother: Bruce Garretson
