Timothy Schneider

Timothy Schneider, age 61, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 at his home in Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus.  Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday with a 7:00 p.m. Vigil Service at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday morning from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Timothy Joseph Schneider (61years) was born November 6, 1957  in Columbus Nebraska to Raymond and Bernadine (Langan) Schneider.  He attended Scotus Central Catholic and graduated in 1976.  He entered the Navy after high school.  He worked at BD's and Kelly Supply.  He was joined in marriage to Linda Jarrett in 1980.  He is survived by his children Janesa (Scott) Landon and Buddy (Anna) Schneider.  Grandchildren are Cannon, Cailyn and Colton Landon along with Malia and Kailani Schneider.

Tim will be remembered for his sense of humor, jokes and stories.  He loved sports and wasn't shy to show his love for the Huskers, Packers and the St. Louis Cardinals.  Tim cherished his grandchildren and could be heard bragging about them often.

He is also survived by his siblings: Mike and Diane Schneider of Columbus, Kitty and Joseph Heimann of Omaha, Joanie and Harry Starzec of Columbus, Nancy Hayes of Omaha, Mary Wilcox of Columbus and Mark and Betsy Schneider of Omaha.

Preceded in death by parents Bernadine and Raymond Schneider and Alan Hayes.
