Tim Shotkoski

Tim Shotkoski died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in Grand Island while out jogging.

Tim was born October 9, 1957 in Columbus, Nebraska to Cliff and Marilyn (Bierman) Shotkoski. He grew up in the Fullerton community where he was raised with three other brothers on the family farm. A graduate of Fullerton High School in 1975, he then attended the Grand Island School of Business to get a business degree. After college he returned to farming for 2 years before starting his business career. Tim worked for Nash Finch and Countrymen in Grand Island for the past 20+ years as an accounting manager. He also continued to be active with the family farm with his father and brother Dan. During his younger days, he was an avid baseball and softball player and pursued that passion most of his life. His great love were his nieces and nephews and following their every activity. Every Christmas he would tirelessly search for the right present for the nieces and nephews and always found endless energy to play with them after they opened their gifts. He always remembered every birthday, event and occasion and proudly displayed countless pictures, drawings or letters of the family and nieces & nephews. The nieces and nephews will greatly miss Uncle Tim and his quick smile, boundless energy and non-stop wrestling. His heart and kindness will be greatly missed by family, friends and those who knew him.

Brother: Larry (Traci) Shotkoski and their children Sydney, Nic and Ava of Pelham, NY
Brother: Mike (Melissa) Shotkoski and their son Austin of Greenville, SC
