Thomas Ziemba

Thomas Ziemba, age 42, died Saturday, May 11, 2024, at his home in Columbus.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Columbus.

Thomas James Ziemba was born on April 15th, 1982, to Thomas and Susan Ziemba. He graduated college from Western Nebraska Community college in 2005 with a degree in Aircraft & Power Plant Mechanics. He further extended his education by getting a degree in Industrial Technology as well as various certifications & awards during his time spent serving in the ARMY.

Thomas grew up on a farm outside Genoa, Nebraska with his brother Jeremiah & sister Heather. Thomas was a brilliant mechanic and could fix or build anything he could imagine.

In 2005 Thomas married the love of his life Kiara Ziemba with whom he shared five children. Jericho, Titus, Amariah, Zedekiah & Zacchaeus. Thomas & his family enjoyed traveling the world having been to many countries. You would often find them swimming off the coast of Belize or jumping off waterfalls in the Dominican Republic. Most weekends he could be found under the stars snuggling with his family next to a campfire. Thomas was an adventurer by nature, a passion that was shared by his wife and children.

Many people would describe Thomas as the kindest person they have ever met. He was very sweet by nature, smart, loving and the definition of what a real man should be.

He was a faithful servant of Jehovah and a member of the congregation of Jehovah's witnesses. He made his ministry a priority by trying to teach people about the Bible and give them a real hope for their future.

There are no words to express the devastation and loss that his family feels without having such a beautiful soul in their lives. Thomas will continue to be forever beloved in our hearts and in our dreams. Thomas and his family firmly believe in the words found at Isaiah 26:19 which state "Awake and shout joyfully, you residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, and the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Until that time when they are united together again in Paradise his wife Kiara will be waiting faithfully for him so that they can begin a new adventure together for all of eternity.
