Theron Bornemeier

Theron Lee Bornemeier (78) of Columbus, passed away December 16, 2023.  Born on May 5, 1945 to Raymond and June Bornemeier.  Theron grew up on a farm outside of Elmwood, Ne and graduated from Elmwood High School.   He lived and farmed in the Elmwood area the majority of his life.  He was a craftsman and enjoyed remodeling projects and refurbishing antique furniture.  He collected and sold antiques with special interest in oil lanterns, and loved country dancing.

Proceeded in death by his parents.  Survived by his sister Rae Jean Ziegelbein (Seward), three children Scott (Vanessa) Bornemeier of Elmwood, Kristi (Jon) Anderson of Lincoln, and Chadd (Lindsey) Bornemeier of Valley and eleven grandchildren.
