Theodora "Dorothy" Liss of Duncan died Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Theodora "Dorothy" Liss was born November 6, 1914 in Nance County, Nebraska to Charles and Felicia (Jarecki) Swantek. She received her education in Genoa. Dorothy married Joseph S. Liss on November 6, 1939 in Duncan, Nebraska. She managed the cafe at the Columbus Sales Pavilion for 23 years. Dorothy was well known and appreciated for her cooking and baking. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her extended family. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Ann's Sodality and the Lions Club in Duncan.
