Terry Lee Wallick, 61, of Hoskins, Nebraska, passed away on April 22, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 30 at First United Methodist Church. Visitation is Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m at McKown Funeral Home.

Terry Wallick was born August 26, 1964 in Albion, NE to Richard Wallick and Judy (Palmer) Martensen. Terry grew up in Albion and attended District 49 grade school in Boone County. He moved to Columbus and attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from Columbus High School in 1982. Terry started a small engines business where he fixed lawn equipment and other small engine repairs. Terry drove truck for many years, ending his career with TC Transport.

Terry was a man who truly enjoyed life and the freedom of the open road. As a dedicated semi-truck driver, he traveled across the country, with California holding a special place in his heart. He took pride not only in his work but also in his ability to fix just about anything—whether it was mowers, weed whackers, or small engines, Terry was always ready to lend a helping hand.

He had a deep love for motorcycles and looked forward to his trips to Sturgis, where he embraced the camaraderie and adventure of the ride. Known for his vibrant personality, Terry was often the life of the party, bringing laughter and energy wherever he went.

Above all, Terry cherished his family. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Kortney (John Riedmiller of Columbus, Nebraska) and Kelsey; his granddaughter, Adalynn; and another grandchild on the way, along with other family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Brother Jeff Wallick, Brother Tim (Karen) Wallick, Brother Tracy (Jeanie) Wallick, Step-father Dale Martensen. Several extended family members including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and step siblings.
