Terry Schultz of Columbus died Saturday, December 6, 2025 in Omaha

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Federated Church in Columbus. Visitation is Thursday 4-7 p.m at the McKown Funeral Home. Private family interment will be in the Gruetli Cemetery.

Terry was born March 17, 1948 in York, Nebraska to Kenneth and Lois (Wullenwaber) Schultz. He received his education at York High where he graduated. He served in the Army National Guard. Terry was united in marriage to Holly Hanson on January 7, 1983 at the Federated Church in Columbus. Along with farming with his family he worked with his parents at Johnnies Steakhouse in Schuyler. As the operation grew, they built Johnnies Steakhouse in Columbus. The family farm and ranching operation transitioned to Platte County and expanded to western Nebraska. Terry enjoyed buying and selling land, his cattle operation and John Wayne movies. Most importantly he loved working with his best friend.

Terry is survived by his wife Holly Schultz, daughter, Tracy (Andrew) Winkler, son, Travis (Megan) Schultz, sister, Jane (Dean) Heiden grandchildren, Grady, Bayley, Trevor, Mitch, Mallery, Tanner, Tenley and Maddie,  great grandchildren: Sage, Grayson and Gunner

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Troy Schultz.
