Teresa R Micek

Teresa Regina Micek of Columbus died Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, surrounded by her three daughters.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00 am Saturday, September 23 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan.  There will be a Catholic Daughters of America Rosary at 3:30 pm Friday with visitation from 4-6 pm with a 6:00 pm Vigil service to follow, all at St. Stanislaus Church.  Visitation will continue Saturday morning from 9 am until service time at the church.  Interment is in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Teresa Regina Micek was born August 31, 1933 in Fullerton, NE to John and Domicella (Smolenski) Stopak.  She graduated from Fullerton High School.  Teresa married Richard "Dick" Micek on September 26, 1959 at St. Peter and Paul Church in Krakow.  She worked for Dale Electronics in Columbus.

Teresa was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Ann's Society, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary of Silver Creek, Disabled American Veterans of Columbus, and the Catholic Daughters of America.  Teresa enjoyed her grandchildren, her flowers, and her card and coffee group.

Daughter Denise Jaggers of Durham, NC
Daughter Jolene (Jeff) Becher of Omaha
6 Grandchildren: Jared and Nicole Psota, Jennie and Joseph Jaggers, and Lauren and Brooke Becher
Sister Rose Pachunka of Omaha
Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
