Tammy Marie Vaught, was born on July 31,1965 in Columbus, NE to Arlo and Mary Ann Bray. She attended Columbus Public Schools and furthered her education at Doane University. She was married to her husband, LeRoy Vaught, on June 27, 1994, in Rapid City, SD. She worked for over 30 years at NPPD until 2019 when she went on longterm disability due to Alzheimers.

Tammy was someone who found joy in the simple, beautiful moments God placed in front of her. She loved being outdoors. Whether it was hiking on a sunny afternoon, riding her bike, camping under the stars, completing puzzles or just taking in the peace of creation around her. Old country music was the soundtrack of her life, and she carried that easy, honest, down-to-earth spirit everywhere she went.

But more than anything, she loved being a mom. Her sons, Trevor and Tyler, were the center of her world. She never missed their games, events, or milestones. She was always cheering, always supporting, and always proud. She taught them to be strong, humble, and kind. Even in her hardest seasons, her love for her boys never wavered.

Her family would like to thank the nurses, caregivers, and friends who walked with her during her final years.

She is survived by:
Husband: LeRoy Vaught of Columbus, NE
Son: Trevor (Alaina) Vaught of Omaha, NE
Son: Tyler Vaught of Lincoln, NE
Brother: Ralph Bray of Columbus, NE
Brother: John (Marie) Bray of North Platte, NE
