Syvilla A. Grotelueschen of Omaha, formerly of Columbus, died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at St. Joseph Villa in Omaha.
Syvilla Grotelueschen was born February 14, 1915 in rural Columbus to Jacob and Lenora (Gragert) Aerni. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Kramer High School in 1933. She worked in Columbus and lived at home before being united in marriage to Harold Grotelueschen on September 29, 1941 in Fremont. Syvilla worked at several jewelry stores including Brodkeys, Froemels, and Kelly Jewelry. She was a lifetime member of St. Lukes-UCC where she was very active and helped with Meals on Wheels.

5 Grandchildren: Michael, Todd (Elizabeth), Jason (Janet), Amy (Russell), and Suzanne, 7 great-grandchildren; Samantha, Ashley, Araya, Eric, Rally, Zander, and Jocelyn and 2 step-grandchildren; Jonathan and Richard Sahs.
