Stella C. Taylor

Stella died Friday at Mory's Haven in Columbus.

Stella C. Taylor was born July 1, 1918 in Cornlea, Nebraska to Anton and Catherine (Frauendorfer) Wegener. She attended St. Heart Catholic School in Cornlea. Stella worked at the Ordinance Plant near Grand Island before attending Beauty School in Grand Island. She married Donald Dean Taylor on August 3, 1949 in Grand Island, Nebraska. Stella was in the beauty salon business for over 42 years until retiring in 1994. She trained 16 apprentices during that time which all went on to get their licenses. She was a member of St. Isidore Church, Chrisitian Mothers and Hour of Adoration at St. Bonaventure.

She is survived by:

Granddaughter: Laura (Tyler) Loewens of Omaha, NE
Grandson: Russ Taylor of Columbus, NE
Great Grandchildren: Kris, Nicholas & Alyssa Taylor
