Stella Sleddens

Stella Sleddens, age 91, died Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Brookestone Acres in Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 5, 2024, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Visitation is Wednesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. followed by a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. all at McKown Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment is in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.

Stella C. Sleddens was born November 9, 1932, to Frank and Anna (Czarnek) Plebanek in Duncan. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1950. On September 13, 1958, Stella was united in marriage to Peter J. Sleddens at St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan. She worked various jobs throughout her life to support her family. Stella was a member of St. Bonaventure church. She enjoyed gardening and canning her cucumbers, fishing and camping. Stella especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and all of their activities.

5 Grandchildren: Tina (Corey) Gottsch, Billy (Amy) Soulliere, III, Michelle (Brandon) Paczosa, Andrea (Brandon) Brudigan, and Adam (Serena) Moore
10 Great Grandchildren: Liam, Harlow, and Willow Soulliere; Dillon Gottsch; Oliver, Noah, and Elliot Paczosa; Breyton Moore, Aleaha and Averie Brudigan.
