Stanley E. Koziol, 94, went to his eternal rest on April 19, 2017 in Wahoo, Nebraska.
Stanley was born March 2, 1923 in Tarnov, Nebraska to John A. and Anna (Zoucha) Koziol. He served as a Corporal in the 462nd Army Air Force Base Unit as a radio operator during WWII from January 1943 - February 1946. On August 29, 1952 He was united in marriage to Florence F. Kiolbasa at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church - Krakow. Stanley farmed in the Tarnov area until moving to Columbus in 1964. He owned and operated the Rosebud and Edgetowne Motels in Columbus for 20 years. Stanley was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name, Eagles Club and a 50 year member of the American Legion. He was so proud of his family and loved keeping up with the grandchildren's activities. He was always there for milestones, big and small, in our lives. He was an avid gardener and Nebraska Cornhusker fan. Stanley is no longer confined by the struggles of old age in his heavenly home and will be dearly missed by all his family.
