Stanley Paczosa Jr.

Stanley Paczosa Jr., age 77, of Duncan, died Friday, March 26, 2010 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.

Stanley was born January 11, 1933 in Duncan, Nebraska to Stanley and Mary (Markiewiec) Paczosa. He received his education at St. Stanislaus Grade School and Duncan High. Stanley served in the United States Army. He married Shirley Carman on October 3, 1957 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for a few years. Stanley then worked and managed for nearly forty years the Duncan Grain Company, later known as Husker CO-OP. He was a lifetime member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church where he served as the grounds keeper for many years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Stanley was a member of the American Legion Silver Creek Post #263.
