Sophie Rose Miller was born January 10, 1915 in Platte County, Nebraska to John and Agnes (Dambiak) Pachunka. She attended grade school at District #5 near Duncan. Sophie married Harold L. Miller in 1934 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, visiting with friends and spending time with her grandchildren. Sophie was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, Holy Hour and the Ladies Guild.
