Shirley Paczosa, 80, of Duncan died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Shirley Paczosa was born May 16, 1935 in Polk County, Nebraska to Frank and Mabel (Brand) Carman. She grew up around Silver Creek and graduated from Silver Creek High School. Shirley was united in marriage to Stanley Paczosa, Jr. on October 3, 1957 at St. Stanislaus Church in Duncan. She raised her family, worked at BDs, did housekeeping for families in Columbus, and did childcare out of her home. Shirley loved to bake and was well known for her better than sex cake. She also loved going to the casino. Shirley was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, St. Anns Society, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Silver Creek.
