Shirley Nieuwenhuis of Columbus died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at her home in Columbus.

Shirley Nieuwenhuis was born March 22, 1947 in Humphrey to Frank and Anna (Goedeken) Keller. She grew up in Humphrey where she graduated from Humphrey St. Francis High School and went on to attend college in Lincoln. Shirley married Paul Nieuwenhuis on October 12, 1968 in Columbus. She loved spending time with family. Shirley was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
