Shirley Heinsohn, age 82, of Columbus, died Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Countryside Home in Madison.
Shirley was born April 1, 1931 in Norfolk to Paul and Amelia (Gragert) Nelson. She graduated from Kramer High School in Columbus in 1949. On November 3, 1950, Shirley married Bernie Heinsohn in Norfolk. They lived in Schuyler before moving to Columbus in 1963. Shirley worked at Behlen Manufacturing in the accounting department until her retirement. She remained active in the Behlen retirement group. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church and volunteered at the Simon House. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, polka music and spending time with her family.

3 Grandchildren: Jared Schaecher, Ryan Schaecher, and Amy (Jose) Lara
5 Great Grandchildren: Izabella, Derek, and Marcus Beltran, Joselyn and Samantha Lara
