Sharon Peterson

Sharon died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at her home in Columbus.

Sharon Peterson was born September 27, 1943 in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska to Frank and Della (Volnek) Bosak. She grew up on a farm near Genoa and attended District #63. At age 13 her family moved to Columbus where she attended St. Bonaventure School. Sharon lived in Washington State and Bellevue, Nebraska for a few years but most of her life was spent living in Columbus. She bartended at the 20s Lounge, Lark Lounge, Husker House and waitressed at the V.F.W. and the American Legion. She later worked at the Columbus Hospital in housekeeping until 1998 when her health forced her to retire. Sharon was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed needlework, reading, playing cards, bingo and ceramics. Sharon loved spending time with family and friends.
