Sharlene died Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Columbus Community Hospital.

Sharlene R. Heft was born February 19, 1939 in Spokane, Washington to Neil and Violet (Fowler) Stillwell. She graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1958. Sharlene married Ronald Heft on August 25, 1967 in Los Angeles, California. The couple moved to Primrose for 10 years and then to Cedar Rapids. In 1987 Sharlene moved back to Spokane. She lived there until 1996 when she moved to the Columbus area. Sharlene was a homemaker, did home health care in Spokane and worked at Beverly Health Care in Columbus. She was a member of the L.D.S. Church. Sharlene enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, bowling, Husker football and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by:
Daughter: Linda (Alan) Poessnecker of Atkinson, NE
Son: Edwin Heft of Columbus, NE
Grandson: Logan Poessnecker of Atkinson, NE
Step-Granddaughter: Mechelle Possnecker of St. Paul, MN
Sister: Lynn Bartholomew of Canoga Park, CA
Nieces in California and a Nephew in Portland, CA
Many other cousins and relatives
Ex-Husband: Ronald Heft of Columbus, NE
