Scott Lindstrom, age 59, of Columbus, died Sunday at Morys Haven in Columbus.
Scott Alan Lindstrom was born January 9, 1959 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Don and Jessie (Jan) Oehlerich. He moved to a farm in Phelps County, Nebraska with his mother and adopted father Floyd Lindstrom and his siblings. He completed his education at Wilcox, Nebraska with the class of 1977. Following graduation he moved to Columbus where he met and married Monica L. Clark at Trinity Lutheran Church on February 24, 1979. They have a son Kyle Scott Lindstrom. Scott always had a special interest in rocks and minerals. He was an officer and supportive of the Loup Valley Gem and Mineral Society. He also loved fishing and took the family on many trips to Minnesota. He worked at Camaco in various positions for almost 35 years before his health failed him. He previously worked at Mueller & Schoepf, Behlens and Sand Livestock System.
