Russell Tichota

Russell Tichota, age, 65, of Rising City, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Schuyler Care and Rehabilitation Center after a 4 month fight with a stroke.

Russell Gene Tichota was born June 14, 1951 in Columbus, Nebraska to Bohumila "Bo" and Ruth (Bauman) Tichota. He joined a sister Gloria and a brother Duane "Ringo". Russell attended Clarkson School and later moved to Columbus. He married Linda Kozisek on August 27, 1977 at St. Joseph Church in rural Bellwood, Nebraska. Russell worked at Gerhold Precast, Wemhoff Manufacturing and Heartland Builders. He was an avid hat collector and enjoyed watching the grandkids play soccer, watching Nebraska football, playing cards, pickle cards and scratch lottery tickets.

Brother-in-law: Carroll Wemhoff of Columbus, NE
