Royce Ford, 87, of Silver Creek died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at his home in Silver Creek.
Royce Max Ford was born February 17, 1930 in Lehigh, Iowa to James L. and Viola Mae (Curtis) Ford. He attended schools in Lehigh before entering into the US Army. He served from 1951 until 1953 where he was stationed in Germany. Royce was united in marriage to Betty Weber. They had one daughter, Elisabeth. Royce worked for MFS York in Webster City, IA before being transferred to Grand Island, NE until retirement. Royce later married Dorothy Legband on February 18, 1989 at the United Methodist Church in Silver Creek. He was a member of the Silver Creek American Legion. Royce was an avid NASCAR and country music fan.
