Rosella M. Haynes, age 73, of Columbus, Nebraska died Friday, October 14, 2005 at the Schuyler Nursing Center. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus with Reverend Andrew Alberts officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at church. A Family Prayer Service will be held at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday also at church. Graveside Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton, Nebraska.

Rosella M. (Schleich) Haynes was born January 14, 1932 in Genoa, Ohio to Louis and Ione M. (VanMeter) Schleich. She married Verl Joseph Haynes September 17, 1950 in Creighton, Nebraska. The couple lived in several mid-west communities before moving to Fullerton, Nebraska and then to Columbus. Rosella was a full time mother, homemaker and a volunteer librarian. She enjoyed the outdoors, walking, bird watching, spending quality time with her friends and family and continued enjoyment of reading. Rosella was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid and Bible Study Group.

She is survived by:

Sister: Sharon Tisdale of Yukon, OK
Brother: Dan (Darlene) Schleich of Linwood, NE
Thirteen Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren
