Rose died Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus.
Rose S. Prososki was born February 23, 1914 in Nance County, Nebraska to George and Veronica (Liss) Yrkoski. She attended school in Krakow. She was married to Joseph Prososki on November 17, 1941 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church-Krakow. They lived in Omaha, Genoa and Silver Creek areas where they farmed. They then farmed in the Pilsno area before moving to Duncan. Rose worked at Montgomery Wards, The Shirt Factory and retired from Becton Dickinson in 1979. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, St. Ann's Sodality and enjoyed gardening and sewing.
