Rose Ann (Deetz) Schumacher Albracht, member of Catholic Daughters, calligrapher, and a member of Arrow Artists, passed away on October 14, 2015 in Broken Bow, Nebraska at age 88. Rose started the Catholic Daughters Chapter in Broken Bow and was involved at the local and state levels. She served as an E.M.E. for many years taking communion to shut-ins and those in the nursing homes. She was also involved in various community activities.
Deetz was born on February 14, 1927 to Henry and Bertha (Hoegrel) Schumacher in Lindsay, Nebraska. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Wilfred (Bill) Albracht; her son, Gregg Albracht and wife, Christine of Santa Fe, New Mexico; her daughters, Khris Brand and husband, Jim of Denver, Colorado; Becky Albracht of Aurora, Colorado; Grace Randolph and husband, Allen of Shamong, New Jersey; her brother, Herbert Schumachter of Red Bluff, California; her six grandchildren: Hope, Seth, Jordan, Ashley, Sydney, and Emily and her three great-grandchildren: Cyris, Gage and Lily. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Rod Cowherd.
