Ronda Surber

Ronda Surber, age 53 of Columbus died Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha.

Memorial Services are 7:00 pm Friday , January 17, 2025 at McKown Funeral Home in Columbus.  Visitation is from 5-7 on that Friday at the funeral home.

Ronda Surber was born December 21, 1971 in Omaha to Ronald Sherman and Barbra Morley. She grew up in Omaha where she graduated from Omaha Northwest High School. She went on to receive her degree in Nursing at Metropolitan Community College. Ronda married John Surber in Las Vegas. Ronda worked in long term care and finished her nursing career in the Emergency Room. Ronda then worked as a chef in various locations throughout Columbus.

Ronda loved music (Grateful Dead, Beatles). She loved attending concerts, gardening, and spending time with her grandkids.

Sister Jeanie (Larry) Sitzman of Humboldt
